Accessibility Statement

Our aim

We want everyone to be able to read Cmsmeridia and use its tools. Cmsmeridia works toward WCAG 2.2 conformance at level AA, the W3C standard for accessible web content. This statement describes what we have done and checked, and what we have not.

How the site is built

  • Pages use headings in order, landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer, and a link to skip straight to the main content.
  • Text and interface colors were chosen to meet contrast ratios of at least 4.5 to 1 for text, and keyboard focus outlines at least 3 to 1 against their background; we checked these with a script against the site's color settings.
  • Controls are built to be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible outline on the focused item.
  • Buttons and form controls are at least 24 by 24 pixels, and main buttons at least 44 pixels tall.
  • Forms have visible labels. Errors are listed in a summary that receives focus, and each error is connected to its field.
  • The site works without JavaScript, apart from the four tools, which explain how to do the same work by hand when JavaScript is off.
  • Results in the tools are announced through a status message when they update.

How we tested

Before publishing:

  • Keyboard focus was checked with an automated browser on 14 pages, including all four tools. Structure, contrast and link checks ran on all 40 pages.
  • All 40 pages were checked for horizontal scrolling at a width of 320 pixels, and the home page was also reviewed at 390, 768 and 1440 pixels.
  • The home page and a tool page were checked with JavaScript turned off.
  • The contact form was tested for its error summary, field errors and focus handling.

What we have not tested yet

We have not yet tested the site with screen readers, and it has not been reviewed by disabled users. Both are planned. Until then, there may be problems these checks did not reveal.

Known limits

  • Comparison tables are wide; on small screens they scroll sideways inside their own box, which can be reached and scrolled with the keyboard.
  • Decorative illustrations are hidden from assistive technology and carry no information that is not also in the text.

Report a problem

If something on the site does not work for you, please tell us at hello@cmsmeridia.online or through the contact page. Say which page you were on and what happened, and we will work on a fix. You can also ask for any page's content in another format by email.
